This year, SK Kuala Berang was chosen to be the host for English Carnival KDSR 2. It involved The Public Speaking Competition, Story Telling Competition and Action Song Competition. SK Kuala Berang had representative for each competition and was arwarded with the third place for those competition. Besides the contestants, two teachers were appointed to be a judges. The competition was chaired by pupils.
